Here at Stainthwaite it’s our aim to provide quality grooming services for your dog that leaves them feeling pampered, happy and refreshed!

We love dogs and we love our job, we are passionate about grooming and we put our all into it. That is why your dog will be treated like one of our own.

Each groom is individually tailored to suit the needs of the dog and the owner. We pride ourselves on our ability to groom all dogs from large breeds to the smallest of pupsters. We are also experienced in grooming dogs of all ages so whether you have a golden oldie or a young pup we can accommodate them all.

The welfare of your dogs is of the highest importance, we want them to enjoy their time with us by making sure they are calm and happy, we’ll return them to you with smiley faces and smelling wonderful!

We use only the best shampoos and conditioners, including deshedding and sensitive skin products.

Our equipment is sanitised on a daily basis so that the possibility of any cross contamination is virtually nil.

Our aim is to provide your dog with a professional groom in a calm environment. Unlike typical groom shops that can often be noisy and stressful, we provide a relaxing and safe environment in which your pet is groomed and pampered. We work by individual appointment only, on a one to one basis allowing your dog the full attention of our qualified Groomer.

Stainthwaite are so pleased to welcome our groomer Amee

She’s an enthusiastic member of the Stainthwaite team and has been with us since October having trained a while ago at The Canine Groom School in Rimmington, Clitheroe.

Amee is a true dog lover, she’s kind but firm with the patience of a saint and the dogs adore her. If you check our Boarding Kennels video’s you’ll see her walking and playing with the dogs too!!

Hello, I’m Amee – A tea fuelled crazy dog lady with a Yorkshire accent!

I’ve always had an interest in dogs from a young age! Dragging my dog teddies around on leads pretending I’m taking them for walks! Taking them absolutely EVERYWHERE with me!

When I moved into my own home I adopted my very own REAL dog, EDDIE – who I absolutely adore!

I then made the decision to become a dog groomer, attended a grooming school and graduated with a City and Guilds, level 3 qualification!

So here I am today, still drinking tea, doing a job I love – making your dog’s look and smell fabulous!
